THANK YOU!
For all of you who showed your support by attending the Recreation and Park meeting on Tuesday evening, you helped make it a really great success! The Board voted unanimously to help fund a skate and bike plaza design, with the Skate and Bike task force contributing 5% to show commitment to Terry Ashe Recreation Center.
We had coverage from two local television stations, the local newspaper, and an amazing turn out from locals within the skate and bike community!
Great thanks goes out to Paradise Skate and Bike Park Chairperson, Diane Graves for representing our committee with great pride, and delivering a clear message as to what we are all about.
These are all baby steps toward our dream, but that felt like one BIG LEAP forward!!!
